Gold and Silver Prices Hit Fresh Highs for Second Day | Udaipur Kiran


New Delhi, September 23 (Udaipur Kiran News): Precious metals continued their upward rally in the domestic bullion market on Monday, with both gold and silver climbing to new record levels for the second consecutive day.

Gold prices surged by ₹460 to ₹500 per 10 grams, while silver registered a modest gain of ₹100 per kilogram.

Current Prices in Major Cities

  • In Delhi, 24-carat gold traded at ₹1,13,230 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold stood at ₹1,03,810.

  • In Mumbai, prices were ₹1,13,080 (24-carat) and ₹1,03,660 (22-carat).

  • Ahmedabad: ₹1,13,130 (24-carat), ₹1,03,710 (22-carat)

  • Chennai & Kolkata: ₹1,13,080 (24-carat), ₹1,03,660 (22-carat)

  • Lucknow & Jaipur: ₹1,13,230 (24-carat), ₹1,03,810 (22-carat)

  • Patna: ₹1,13,130 (24-carat), ₹1,03,710 (22-carat)

  • Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Bhubaneswar: ₹1,13,080 (24-carat), ₹1,03,660 (22-carat)

Meanwhile, silver was trading at ₹1,38,100 per kilogram in Delhi, reflecting a marginal increase from the previous session.

Market Trend

Analysts attribute the consistent rise in bullion prices to global economic uncertainty and strong retail demand ahead of the festive season. With gold reaching new peaks in multiple state capitals, traders expect the upward momentum to continue in the near term.
