Udaipur, September 21 (Udaipur Kiran News): The city of lakes witnessed a star-studded evening as renowned social worker and IVF specialist-turned-film producer Dr. Ajay Murdia premiered his latest movie, Tuu Meri Puri Kahani, at PVR, Celebration Mall, Udaipur. The event was graced by eminent filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, music director Anu Malik, director Suhrita Das, and the entire cast of the film.
This is Dr. Murdia’s second film venture, following the success of Tumko Meri Kasam. The new romantic drama, presented by Dr. Ajay Murdia and Vikram Bhatt, is set to release in cinemas on September 26, 2025.
Speaking at the premiere, Mahesh Bhatt praised the passion behind the project, saying that when producers like Dr. Murdia come forward with a vision to guide society positively, “the purpose of cinema becomes even more sacred.” Anu Malik recalled his long association with Bhatt since Phir Teri Kahani Yaad Aayi and described their reunion as “a celebration in itself.”
Dr. Murdia highlighted his belief in the social power of cinema, stating, “Films can guide society towards a positive path. While many say films spoil people, I believe they can also reform and inspire.” He also shared that his upcoming film projects include Tera Yaar Hoon Main, Tairaki, Kamboja, Virat, Ran and Japan.
The premiere was particularly special as it marked the comeback of the Mahesh Bhatt–Anu Malik duo after a long gap. The film’s music, composed by Malik, was warmly received by the audience, who applauded during the screening of its songs.
Storyline
Tuu Meri Puri Kahani narrates the journey of a young woman aspiring to become an actress, who faces opposition from her family. She finds love in a singer, but is eventually forced to choose between her dreams and her relationship. The music captures themes of love, separation, and longing.
