Engineers’ Day Celebrated at Pacific Polytechnic and Fire & Safety Institute | Udaipur Kiran


Udaipur, September 15 (Udaipur Kiran). Pacific Polytechnic College and Pacific Institute of Fire & Safety Management, under Pacific University, celebrated Engineers’ Day by organising a “Best Out of Waste” competition.

College Director Dr. Mukesh Shrimali informed that students from various faculties enthusiastically participated, creating useful models and projects from discarded materials. From Pacific Polytechnic, the first prize went to Akash Mali, the second to Aditya Singh, and the third to Naved Khan Pathan and his team. From the Institute of Fire & Safety Management, Kavyaansh Sharma secured the first prize, followed by Shailesh Choudhary in second place and Yuvraj Singh in third.

The event’s chief guest, Manoj Joshi, Managing Director of Mold Makers, addressed the students and emphasised the importance of skill development. He encouraged students to build entrepreneurial capabilities, become job creators, and contribute meaningfully to society. Joshi also inspected the projects presented by the students and praised their creativity and efforts.

Highlighting the role of engineers in nation-building, he urged students to remain alert, responsible, and dedicated to societal development.

In his closing remarks, Principal Neeraj Shrimali expressed gratitude to all participants and shared inspiring stories and achievements from the life of Bharat Ratna Sir M. Visvesvaraya. The event was conducted by Dr. Varsha Choudhary.
