
Udaipur, 13 September (Patrika English News): Law students of the Pacific School of Law, under Pacific Academy of Higher Education and Research University, Udaipur, undertook an educational visit to the Lok Adalat on 13 September 2025. The visit offered them first-hand exposure to the functioning of this alternative dispute resolution mechanism.
At the beginning of the programme, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Hemant Kothari addressed the students, highlighting the importance and utility of Lok Adalat. He said that Lok Adalats not only make the justice process simple, accessible, and speedy but also encourage mutual understanding and reconciliation in society.
Dr. Pushpa [Principal, Pacific School of Law] briefed the students on the working of Lok Adalats, explaining how they form an essential part of India’s judicial system under Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).
The students found the visit highly informative and inspiring, as they witnessed how disputes are settled through compromise, enabling faster resolution of pending cases.
