
Udaipur (Udaipur Kiran): Players from MDS Public School showcased their supremacy at the 69th Under-14 District Lawn Tennis Championship, excelling in both singles and team events and bringing pride to their institution.
Team Event Brilliance
In the doubles category, rising talents Arjav Jain and Purvansh Sarupriya displayed remarkable coordination and skill. They defeated MMPS 2-0 in the semifinals before outclassing St. Paul’s with another commanding 2-0 win in the final to claim the title.
Singles Matches Thrill the Crowd
The singles competition was also dominated by MDS players.
This set up an all-MDS final. In a nail-biting contest cheered on by spectators, Arjav edged past Purvansh 4-3 to clinch the singles crown.
State-Level Selection
Acknowledging their stellar performance, both Arjav and Purvansh have been selected to represent Udaipur at the state-level championship, adding to the celebrations at MDS.
