Udaipur, 1 September (Udaipur Kiran). Member of Parliament Dr. Mannalal Rawat visited Maharana Bhupal Hospital in Udaipur to meet the 16-year-old gang-rape survivor from Banswara. Dr. Rawat spoke with the survivor and her family, inquired about her health, and gave instructions to hospital authorities to ensure there is no negligence in her treatment. He also directed police officials to take strict action against those involved in the crime.

It is noteworthy that the minor survivor is undergoing treatment in Udaipur after the incident in Banswara. Upon receiving information about the case through media reports, Dr. Rawat immediately reached the hospital after a public hearing at the district council. He was accompanied by BJP District President Gajpal Singh Rathore, General Secretary Paras Singhvi, Devilal Salvi, Pankaj Borana, Vice President Karan Singh Shaktawat, media co-incharge Krishnakant Kumawat, and Yuva Morcha’s Surendra Singh Panwar.

During the visit, Hospital Superintendent Dr. R.L. Suman briefed Dr. Rawat about the survivor’s health and assured that the doctors and nursing staff are taking full care of her. The survivor’s health has shown improvement. Dr. Rawat personally interacted with the survivor and confirmed that she was not facing any difficulties in her treatment. Her family members also confirmed that her health is steadily improving.

Speaking to the media after the visit, Dr. Rawat described the incident as extremely concerning. He said he had spoken to the IG of Udaipur Range, who informed him that the main accused has been arrested and a thorough investigation is ongoing. Dr. Rawat also discussed with the District Collector to ensure that the family receives assistance under government schemes.

Dr. Rawat emphasized that such incidents and negative influences are distressing for this otherwise peaceful region. He highlighted the growing concerns about misleading influences among the youth in the Dungarpur-Banswara area and stressed the need for deep and thorough police investigation.
