India vs China Hockey Asia Cup 2025 LIVE: Three-time champions India will take on China in their opening encounter of the Hockey Asia Cup 2025 in Rajgir on Friday. The Asia Cup 2025 is a qualifying tournament for the FIH Hockey World Cup next year. Eight teams have been divided into two groups of four each.

After the single-headed round-robin format, the top two teams from each pool will qualify for Super 4s stage. The top two from Super4s will play in the final on September 7. India have been grouped with Japan, China and Kazakhstan in Pool A. Pool B consists of South Korea, Malaysia, Bangladesh and Indonesia.
