Rail Vikas Nigam surges on signing JV agreement with Texmaco Rail & Engineering | Udaipur Kiran


Rail Vikas Nigam is currently trading at Rs. 317.60, up by 4.80 points or 1.53% from its previous closing of Rs. 312.80 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 313.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 318.10 and Rs. 313.25 respectively. So far 339092 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 619.40 on 02-Sep-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 295.25 on 07-Apr-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 334.40 and Rs. 311.40 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 65844.93 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 72.84%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 11.28% and 15.88% respectively.

Rail Vikas Nigam (RVNL) has signed a Joint Venture (JV) Agreement with Texmaco Rail & Engineering for undertaking projects in the railway and allied infrastructure sectors. A JV company shall be incorporated subject to approval of the company’s Board of Directors and other statutory approvals. The proposed shareholding of RVNL and Texmaco Rail & Engineering will be 51% and 49% respectively.

The principal business of the JV Company shall encompass activities in the rolling stock, EPC projects, bidding & tenders, workshops & depots, and geographical presence.

Rail Vikas Nigam functions as an extended arm of the Ministry of Railways. The company is in the business of executing all types of railway projects including new lines, doubling, gauge conversion, railway electrification, metro projects, workshops, major bridges, construction of cable stayed bridges, institution buildings etc.
